 Rummage Sale May Fashion Calander

Avoiding redoing my closet for the Spring, I decided to turn it into fun, sort of a performance peice. Going to Rummage sales is an athletic event for Carlos and myself as I am into fabric textures and materials. By the lawnbagfulls is the most fun, but I also enjoy the 25. cent per peice sales at a certain Fire house this Saturday. My Mother was a talanted miliner and seamstress, making most of me and my sister Pennys clothes, so I had experience, sewing and designing fashions by watching my Mother Elsie, on her sewing machine. In my teens I made my own Capri pants, a shocking chartruese 2 peice bathing suit that I wore to the St. George Hotel Swimming Pool where I was a regular in Brookly Heights N.Y.C.

Clothes have to move for me, flow. For dancing, hiking, climbing, or even running from a mugger or degenerate. Fabric and textures that Im partial to are, cotton and silk velvets, cut silk velvet, sheer cottons and silks, layering sheers, hand knits of chashmere, mohair, angora, etc.
